Length of time for CPAP to work

Post by Johnrusso » Wed Sep 11, 2024 7:27 am

I have been on CPAP for over two months and have noticed each time the pressure is increased the AHI first stops and then builds again. How long can it take for the CPAP to finally get to a reading of five

Welcome to the forum! To answer your question, we need some more information, which will take a little work on your part.

First, could you fill out your equipment profile so we'll all know what kind of machine and mask you use?

Once we know what kind of machine you have, we can make suggestions about how you can most easily provide additional key information.

John, your machine settings might not be optimized. When you fill out your equipment profile, post again in this thread so we get a notification.

The next step will be checking which data your machine reports.

These types of problems have solutions. Often, the solutions are easily implemented. Keep the faith.
