Also if it normal for heart rate to be 47 and 109?
Respiratory Events The patient had 93 hypopneas and 2 apneas for an overall Apnea + Hypopnea Index (AHI) of 12. Supine AHI was 10 and non-supine AHI was 5.5. The average SaO2 value during the recording was 93%. The minimum SaO2 value was 79%. The oxygen desaturation index (ODI) was 12.2. The patient spent 14% of time with oxygen saturation < 90% and 46 minutes of the evaluation time with oxygen saturation levels at or < 88%. ( OXIMETRY CHANNEL ARTIFACT NOTED ) Cardiac Events The average heart rate recorded was 84. The lowest recorded heart rate was 47 and highest recorded heart rate was 109. Yes, your health could benefit from the use of CPAP.
47 when sleeping or a runner when at rest.
109 when you move around in bed, or when you are having apneas and oxygen desats.
Start thinking about which model CPAP you want. I only recommend the ResMed AirSense AutoSet 10.
When you find out which machine they want to supply you, run the model through this thread for advice.
While you are waiting for a CPAP, avoid any backsleeping. Obstructive sleep apnea tends to be most severe on the back. Sleep on your sides or stomach.
