ResMed AirSense 10 Not recording data to my SD card

Post by dwill1008 » Sat Jan 20, 2024 2:59 pm

I have a ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP machine. My unit depends on the SD card for recording data because I got it during the computer chip shortage and as a result has no chip and no ability to transmit data. I use Oscar, periodically, to review my data. A recent review showed no data after September 12, 2023 (I checked to make sure that my SD card was unlocked). This was alarming since I use my machine daily. I contacted ResMed a few weeks ago. They said it's probably a corrupted SD card and that they would send me a new card (haven't received it yet). Tired of waiting I bought my own SD card, put it into the machine and used it for 3 nights before checking for data again. There was still no data after September 12, 2023. The display screen on my unit indicates what seems to be correct usage data every morning. But the data doesn't get recorded on my SD card. I've unplugged the unit several times for substantial periods. I have not tried a factory reset because I don't want to deal with that process.

What size of SD card did you buy? If larger than 32 GB that might be the problem.
When you insert the card do you watch to see if the machine recognized the SD card?
Did you leave the SD card in the machine during the night when using the machine? I have to ask because you would be surprised as to how many people don't.

Have you tried creating a new profile in OSCAR and downloading to the new profile? If not, give it a try.

New SD was 32 GB. Machine did recognize the card. Yes, I did leave the card in while using the machine (it just seemed like right thing to do). I just created a new profile in Oscar, tried to read the original card and it is totally up to date! Problem solved! Thank you so much.
