Pressure settings when switching from full face to nasal

Post by Kat2 » Tue Sep 05, 2023 12:57 pm

I have been using Cpap with an F30i full face mask (with mouth tape or chin up strips) for two years. Pressure set at 9.8-11.4 with EPR at 3. AHI consistently under 1. Leak rate usually 0 or very low. I had neck dissection surgery back in the fall and the full face mask straps irritate my scar and cause neck muscle tightness and spasms. I picked up an N30i from my DME today and hope to order a Bleep if I can adjust to the nasal vs full. I know I need to switch my Resmed 11 to nasal and to nasal pillow if I get the Bleep, but wondering if I need to adjust my pressure settings too. If so, how much?

That's hard to predict. You might try lowering your minimum pressure by 1.0. But the next day, you need to look at your data in OSCAR (or SleepHQ.com). The pressure line will be important to analyze. Forum members can help you with all of this. Please stick to this one thread.
