Nope, Resmed has changed the heated hose every time they come out with a new generation machine. Whether the new cables are better, or just different, I don't know.feeling_better wrote: ↑Wed Jul 19, 2023 11:22 amI am a very long term member returning here occasionally. Why on earth would they pass up the opportunity to sell new heated hoses
with every new machine?

Well, in all fairness, they don't seem to last that long anyway.chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Thu Jul 20, 2023 6:51 pmWhy on earth would they pass up the opportunity to sell new heated hoses

I must be doing something different.
Over 3 years, and I'm still using the original climateline that came with this machine.

The only one I got, the end got soft after a few months and the mask wouldn't stay in... now I could just wrap a rubber band around the end cuff.chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Fri Jul 21, 2023 9:12 amI must be doing something different.

The cuff is indeed a weak point.
Since I only separate the mask from the hose at the 90 day point
when swapping out for a clean mask, there is little strain.
