Resmed N30 Mask

Post by Madcitysal » Tue Jul 18, 2023 2:48 pm

Instructions for N30 mask says you should feel exhaled air coming from mask which indicates you will not be breathing expired air. The N30 came with a "Quiet Vent" and I don't feel much air coming from the vent. I'm concerned that I will be rebreathing expired air. Let me know if you have experience with this mask. Thanks.

Your okay. The diffuser on the n30 is really quiet and not forceful like many others. It's a good mask.

Wet your finger and put it up about an inch from the vent holes (wearing the mask with machine on) of the N30 and you should be able to sense/feel the vented air much easier.
I know it doesn't feel like a lot of air movement but it is quite adequate for moving exhaled air out the vent holes so we aren't re-breathing our own exhaled breaths.
