Ear crackling and popping

Howdy folks,

New cpap user here. I suffer from tinnitus and hyperacusis. I am using the resmed 11 with nose pillows. I wake up middle of night each time spiked with ear crackling and popping for a bit each time. I’m guessing I’m mouth breathing or air is hitting my tubes. Anything I can do to remedy this?
