I have severe sleep apnea (AHI 42 in home test). Kaiser sent me a Dreamstation 2 and initially I seemed to be adapting to it, but later it caused me so much discomfort that I rarely used it.
Within the past few days, I purchased an Aircurve 10 that had appeared on Craigslist. Apparently the experience will be a lot better. However, the provider will probably not support it, so I'm now concerned with getting some more detailed information from it myself.
It appears to have a modem, but I'm not familiar with its use. Resmed's MyAir does not support this device.
I installed OSCAR on a Linux system to read data from an SD card. However, its setup requires filling in details for a provider. If Kaiser isn't interested in cooperating, can I make something up, in order to finish the installation? Otherwise I would be interested in trying other applications that do not involve such restrictions. Resmed used to have a downloadable application for this purpose, but no longer does. (I also have a Windows computer available.)

You don't have to input all that extra crap that OSCAR asks for.
Choose your ID of your choice and bypass all that other stuff. Just ignore all those questions. They aren't needed for OSCAR to work.
