I don't think we can blame it ALL on OSA. I'm not quite as short-tempered as I was 2 years ago, but I also believe my thinking is clearer now......and I STILL have no tolerance for liars and a$$holes.
Funny, too.....with my newly oxygenated brain, I'm finding MORE of them.

Hey Den, Guess we got lucky we didn't get grumpy in our older years, as did the others. Its a lot like the old cliche when he drinks he gets nasty, when in reality he is not much different sober.

HA!
Funny thing.....years ago, when I DID drink, I usually just went to sleep.
More boring than when I was sober.

Man I can relate to this post, I'm sure my wife will testify to this. I have been grumpy as hell with no patience for anybody or anything. I hope its the sleep apnea!!! I am pretty sure it is because the days I am cranky I am also tired and had a bad nights sleep. I am one month into this and still hoping for a good nights sleep, not ready to give up. Actually don't have a choice I think if I keep up this attitude my wife will probably leave!

Eh, if she's put up w/you this long more than likely she'll just move you out to the garage and serve you dinner thru the window. Or maybe she'll just skip the dinner part .....

Turns out that might just be the truth-have recently heard and read about some research showing that irritability as we age is related to higher levels of intelligence. Can't find the source-but is sounds good to me.

Grasshopper,
Good cure for grumpy people, is put brain in gear before putting mouth in action.

Nah, that can't work. It would be too easy to be a "real" cure!
