Sweaty itchy boo :(
Ugh I can't get to 4 hours because I wake up all itchy and sweaty under my nose. (I think it's sweat bc my humidity is turned way down). Anyone have this issue and what was your solution? Full face mask?

Additional Comments: Heat and humidity set on high end. Switched from nasal cradle style to pillows. Added mouth tape 4/27 |
Diagnosed with 28 events per hour, first night with CPAP 4/12/23. Setting is 10.
Re: Sweaty itchy boo :(
Instructions say to use the machine 4 hours per night to comply with insurance...it doesn't say you have to sleep with it for 4 hours.

If you have. AC, use it.
You need to be comfortable to sleep, and cool sleep is most effective.

Maybe you need a different mask like a nasal mask with a mask liner between you and the silicone?
Also if you keep your room pretty cool, there could be condensation between your warm skin and the silicone--that wet dog nose feel always made me feel itchy. That really bothered me with nasal pillows because my room is cold (except during heat waves in summer) and the heated humidifier of my first machine crapped out, so I never use a humidifier, heated or not.
I don't have this issue with the Dreamwear nasal pillow, but it could be what you are experiencing. Chunky suggests keeping your room cooler if you can, but if you find that makes the problem worse it might answer the question of whether it's sweat or condensation.
