Post by tiredNorlando » Fri May 05, 2023 4:47 pm

Hey group, haven’t been here for a while.. feeling tired every day again.. upped my minimum 2 weeks ago by 1 , seemed to help, then this week has been awful, even got a new mask and that didn’t help. I’ve been using cpap for 7 years and suddenly feel like crap! My Oscar info is below.. any advice please !

Any reason your max. is set where it is rather than higher?

Not really, just kept monitoring my ahi and that 10 min worked good for a long time, then it didn’t , so went to 11… what’s odd is I can barely feel resistance when I put the mask on, I guess we get used to the resistance.. flex is off too

have you been on the same machine for 7 years?
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

If you never reach the max at what it is now then increasing the max is unlikely to do much. The machine won't go there anyway.

Your minimum is going to be your most critical setting.

Are you sleeping soundly or waking up frequently during the night?
What meds are you taking? Anything new or a change in dosage?

Hey pugsy! Long time no talk! You helped me when I first started!

Sleep about 7 hours ok, wake up suddenly around 4 am take mask off and get up.. no meds at all

Thank you for any advice… not sure if I should up my minimum?

Been on the same machine for around 7 years, could it be worn out?

Have you seen your doctor about this?
It could be something else entirely.
