Resmed 10 Heat Plate

Post by shaneo » Mon Apr 17, 2023 4:07 am

Hi my heat plate does not heat but everything else works -no alert on screen-if the fuse is blown should a fault be shown on screen-first l will test fuse easy bit first-if fuse is ok what should l check next and how-one last thing-if its the heat plate and l change it-is it plug and play or is there some calibration needed.Any help would be greatly appreciated-thanks

I don't think there is any kind of onscreen diagnostic displayed. Don't recall seeing anything reported.

Remove all water from the the tank, put the tank back in, set the humidity to 8, and then run it for 10-15 minutes. Turn it off, remove tank and feel heater plate. Put a thermometer on it, and/or feel the plate.

If it's not hot, then yes, somethings wrong. might be the fuse.

Unfortunately for the OP, the Check Engine Light feature wasn't introduced until the Air 11.
