Want nasal pillows smaller than ResMed Nuance Pro with small pillows

Post by MichaelWD64 » Tue Apr 04, 2023 9:11 pm

Does such a thing exist?

I'm not new to CPAP but am new to pillows. I like them but have trouble keeping the holes lined up with my nostrils no matter what I do with the headgear.

I tried medium, it's worse for me. (I'm using full pressure now, for anyone who read my posts where I wasn't with pillows.)

I would like to try something smaller than the small, hopefully that would work with the same headgear, but willing to buy whole unit if not.

I saw ResMed Mirage Liberty Nasal Pillows, they look like they go IN your nose, that might work. When my old CPAP machine finally died, I slept with cannulas in connected to OxBox (oxygen concentrator), that worked better than nothing, and I didn't mind having them up in my nose.

Thank you.

Got on CPAP 2015, AHI 147. Much better now. Have central & obstructive apnea. Smoked 30 years, quit when got on O2 & CPAP. I'm not on O2 during day anymore, only when I sleep, into CPAP machine. Ahhhh....oxygen! Refreshing!

Several of the Resmed Nasal Pillows masks, including both the P10 and the Swift FX have extra small pillows abailable.

But the Liberty mask you are using only seems to have S, M, and L available.

Do you need a full face mask? If not, I'd suggest trying out the P10 or the Swift FX with extra small pillows.

Thank you.

I used full-face for 7 years, no prob, but as my health improved a bit (also moved to lower elevation), it somehow started to seem claustrophobic, so I'm learning to use pillows.

My wife helped me adjust mine last night, I had it too tight, without too tight, almost just laying there, it doesn't leak and it isn't as uncomfortable. I'll try that a while and if no good, try the P10 or the Swift FX with extra small pillows. Thank you!
