Hi all Low SPO2 saga continues, see previous posts for details, reason behind it still unclear. Any ideas will be appreciated!
I'm CPAP user since 2017, with supplemental O2 since June 2023, pressure min 9.4 max 17. AHI still a bit high, 6 month average 7.6. Nighttime SPO2 with CPAP and supplemental oxygen looks low - basal 93-94 with 53%-70% of time SPO2 below 95, data recorded by Contec finger oxymeter with memory. During the day basal SPO2 91-92 with 70-80% time below 95.
Suppressed O2 saturation might be one of the reasons for constant tiredness, brain fog. It is increasingly difficult to perform routine tasks which require concentration.
For the last few years bloods consistently show suppressed haemoglobin (April figure 12.2, below min norm = 13), red blood cells count (4.05, min norm 4.5), hematocrit = 0.36 in April was slightly below norm (min 0.4).
