New machine - how to sync my sd card w/ OSCAR?
Hello,
I got my Phillips replacement (Dreamstation 2) a couple of weeks ago. I've had my SD card in there that I kept from my old System One machine. When I put my card in my laptop and opened OSCAR, it only downloaded my last day from my old machine and nothing from the new one. How do I fix that?

Re: New machine - how to sync my sd card w/ OSCAR?
Question: Did you reuse the card from your old System One in the new DreamStation 2 machine without wiping or reformatting the card?
If so, that's probably the reason OSCAR didn't read any new data.
I would suggest that you either get a new SD card for the new machine OR that you totally erase all the contents on the existing card before putting it back into the DS2.
You will lose the detailed data for the nights that you've already used the DS2, but things should be fine in the future.
Also, make sure that you have an up-to-date version of OSCAR. It did take a while for them to add the DreamStation 2's to the list of machines that are compatible with OSCAR.

Which OSCAR version were you trying to use?
I believe the only version compatible with the DreamStation 2 model is the 1.4 version.

1.1.0 - how do I upgrade it? I'm tech challenged.

Yep, I reused my old car. No I didn't wipe it clean or reformat it.robysue1 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 10:33 amQuestion: Did you reuse the card from your old System One in the new DreamStation 2 machine without wiping or reformatting the card?

Re: New machine - how to sync my sd card w/ OSCAR?
Just download and go through install process. It will overwrite the previous version and keep old data. Easy peasy.
I don't know that a reformat/erase of the old card will be needed with the latest OSCAR version.
You do for sure need the 1.4 version if you want compatibility with the DS2 machine.
My suggestion is install the latest OSCAR and then try to import again and if it doesn't work right then erase the old card....or just get a new card.

OK, I have the new version but it still shows my old machine - how do I update that? Or once I clear my card will it automatically show my new machine?Pugsy wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 1:53 pmJust download and go through install process. Create a new profile and try loading the data under that profile. I created new profiles when my wife and I got new machines even though they are the same model machine as the old ones.

I got it! I reformatted my card and then when I re-inserted it, it's updated to my new machine. Yay, thanks everyone!
