Swollen Eyes in the AM

Post by gebo » Tue Feb 14, 2023 9:30 am

Why do my eyes fell like they are swollen every morning? Is it because of a leaky mask?

If you have leaks that blow air up toward your eyes, your eyes may be irritated. Another possibility: if your eyes actually look swollen, maybe the straps of your mask, or the mask itself, are pushing fluids in your face toward your eyes.

CPAP masks are not designed to be adjusted tightly. Find your mask on youtube and carefully watch two or three videos on fitting and adjusting.

Will do. If my water tank goes from FULL to almost EMPTY over night and my Humidity is set at 4 and 72 degrees, I gotta have a leak, right?

Probably. Or your pressure is set to 20.0 and you live in the desert.

Do you know how to read your leak level (liters per minute) on your machine's display? Youtube has videos showing how to enter the clinical menu and view the reports.
