I'm always asked if I could or would drop off my data card about an hour before my appointment. I do and then go have lunch w/a friend who lives near the sleep clinic.
So he's checked it three times and he does go thru it whilst we are in the exam room. He has turned me loose for the next 6 months now so I assume they won't ask for it again until then or unless I call them w/a problem.
Poll - MD requests for xPAP Data?

I brought my card and data to sleep doctor. he said "I don;t want to see that, I am much more worried about your coping and worrying about it than I am about your sleep apnea."
And when i asked the famous NYU sleep center, where Dr Krieger writes world famous research articles about slee[p apnea, if I should bring my APAP card when coming for a second opinion. they told me they don't have a card reader, and never see the data except when monitoring compliance for prof truck drivers and pilots.

Do those two statements sound contradictory to anyone?
How do they monitor compliance for those two categories without a card reader?
Not questioning YOU, Arthur......just struck me as a little odd.....like double-talk.
