looks good to me. how long have you been on cpap? how is your sleep? are you sleeping through the night? any bathroom trips in the night? how are you feeling when you wake up?

honestly all in all that's a good looking chart!

also, thanks much for taking time to read the newbie thread. it really helps the forum to see charts presented this way.
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

Hi zonker,

Thx for the reply.

*big note: last night was the first night I set my machine to a min of 10 with no ramp so that may of helped?

Be been on cpap for three months.

Sleep is fine I guess I generally sleep through the night. I oversleep which is a problem.

When I wake up I still feel tired and alot of pressure in my head. Get extremely tired around 3pm. Sucks.

Should I stay the course?

Would mouth breathing be preventing me from feeling results?

There might be a way to improve this. What were your settings for the first three months?

Possibly, it you are using a nasal-only interface.

Have you been checked for other possible reasons you're tired - nothing to do with apnea?

How many hours of sleep...real sleep and not just laying in bed...are you getting?
Are those hours fragmented by multiple wake ups?
Do you take any medications of any kind? If so, what?
Any other physical or mental health issues that might impact sleep or how a person feels during the day?

Perhaps. But we have no idea what your data looked like before last night.
Be been on cpap for three months.
What settings were you using before last night?

What has your usual treated AHI been the last 3 months?

How much sleep have you been getting each night?

And just as important: How bad is your untreated apnea? And what were your pre-CPAP symptoms? Sometimes it just takes a while for the body to really heal.
Sleep is fine I guess I generally sleep through the night. I oversleep which is a problem.
If you could set your sleep window however you desired, when would you go to bed at night and when would you wake up in the morning? How much are you "oversleeping" in the morning? And why is it a problem?

Also, how is your overall sleep hygiene? In other words, do you do things that inadvertently encourage bad sleep?
When I wake up I still feel tired and alot of pressure in my head. Get extremely tired around 3pm. Sucks.
What were your pre-CPAP symptoms of sleep apnea? Also keep in mind that a lot of people find the need of a "siesta" in the afternoon, but our particular culture here in the US frowns mightily on the idea of anybody over the age of 5 needing a nap.

In other words, is it possible to take a short nap around 3pm and then wake up feeling better than you did before the nap? If so, there may be nothing wrong with your body except that it wants a nap sometime after lunch.
Should I stay the course?
I'd say yes you should. Some of us take months to start feeling better. In my case, it was 6 months before I started having any improvement at all in how I felt and it was almost a year before I was waking up feeling genuinely rested and refreshed in the morning.
Would mouth breathing be preventing me from feeling results?
Could be. But I will add that the large leaks on the night you posted are short enough and small enough that they didn't really compromise the quality of your CPAP therapy. The question is whether those leaks woke you up and kept you from getting back to sleep for a while.

Charts look great. Maybe too much sleep, when I sleep more than 71/2 hours I feel like crap. Just a thought.
