Fisher and Paykel CPAPs

Does anybody have recent experience with this brand? I had one in 2005 that I stopped using in 2009. This was a very good machine for its day (but obsolete by today's standards). I actually used in for several months in 2021 due to the Philips recall; it still works!

My question is does anybody have experience with their more recent models? How are they?

Also, this brand does not seem to have a transformer (aka "brick") in the power cord. That includes the current models as well as my ancient one! Does they have AC motors, or built-in transformers?

When I started CPAP in 2018, my son had an F&P unit. He struggled to use it, and the noise bothered his wife to the point where he stopped using it.
I don't know the specific model. After a couple of weeks of using my Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset, I relayed my experience of using the Resmed to my son.
He was able to also get an Airsense 10 Autoset, and has used it successfully ever since.

To be fair, I don't have the model information, and it's certainly possible that you will get some responses that are positive of their units.
My point is if you have a choice, I suggest Resmed Auto units. I recently got the Airsense 11 Autoset, and the therapy on both of these Resmed units have been excellent.
