After market replacement for ResMed P10 headgear/strap?

Sorry if this has been covered but any search I try gives thousands of results.

I'm seeking a cheaper option for what is essentially an elastic strap with a couple of holes. $28 is insane. Several are available online but reviews indicate they run small and I have a big melon of a head. Any recommendations?

You will usually get what you pay for. On amazon or ebay, anyway.

are you aware that you can shrink the headband by running it through the washer/dryer cycle with the rest of your clothes?

Search for P10 headgear on ebay. So far I have bought the cheap chinese knockoffs and they aren’t terrible. I got a 3pk. you have to fiddle with them a bit sometimes because the fit isn’t as good as the resmed brand. That was like $18 for 3.

Others list the real ones including adjustable newer ones. I have seen some at slightly more manageable 10-15 for one but I don’t want them that bad after just buying some.

I put them in a delicates bag and put them thru washer and dryer to shrink after 1-2 wearings.

I've had good results with the old style headgear from Amazon. And quite a bit less expensive. I believe the brand was WISKY (or something like that).

Was checking out the amazon ones just now (thanks to whoever suggested). They are about what they cost on ebay, though some authentic resmed ones are avail on ebay for below price, if that is important to you.

And see those clips to make the straps tighter?

IME they just wreck the straps. You would get better results getting them wet and putting in the dryer. They work just fine and I will use them when I feel like my straps dont have much give left in them. But they seem pretty rough on the fabric and it seems unnecessary. (rough=tearing at the fibers a bit).

Reviews are mixed but the ones I received were good quality and work great. I had ordered some others that were longer than the original resmed but I just used the sewing machine to stick a straight line on them at the length I needed instead of using the included clips.
