Delta setting

Hello- I was curious if ‘Delta’ setting on a prescription means Pressure Support? Thanks!

Can you write the whole script down for us?

Or even better, scan it and block out the personal identifying information and post the image?
Joined as robysue on 9/18/10. Forgot my password & the email I used was on a machine that has long since died & gone to computer heaven.

Correct number of posts is 7250 as robysue + what I have as robysue1

"delta" is not a commonly used term in the sleep apnea/respiratory treatment arena.

In mathematics, "Delta" stands for the difference between two numbers.

Presssure support is the difference between inhale and exhale.

Good morning!

It won’t let me add a picture. It’s says file is too big. But here are the settings on the prescription:

Max IPAP: 14
Min EPAP: 10
Max Delta: 4

In that description, it sure looks like Delta means PS.

What kind of a machine are you using? Or are you still waiting to get the machine?

Yes, delta is a term used in the respiratory world...not very common unless a sleep physician who is board certified in pulmonology, or a respiratory therapist.
