Why isn’t there a travel sized BiPAP?

Post by cpapasmurf » Mon May 02, 2022 9:15 pm

What is it about BiPAP that prevents it from being available in a travel sized device? BiPAP is merely a software change in the home units. So I assume it consumes too much energy to be practical in a travel unit? Or is it an issue of not being a very large market? I find it odd because the technical differences between CPAP and BiPAP are merely different software algorithms and firmware.
