WiFi Not Working

Post by Wanda P » Fri Apr 15, 2022 1:59 pm

My AirSense 10 machine was reporting regularly until the past week. I have good wireless signal in my home, but the Airsense 10 doesn’t show that it has any signal. Is there an on/off switch somewhere on the machine? Or has the MyAir app recently changed?

Check that you didn't accidentally place the machine in Airplane mode. Otherwise, read the link above.

I believe that most machines use 3G cellphone technology, which is being phased out.

Mine uses T-Mobile.

Possible, but not likely: new windows are often built with low-e glass,
which blocks some radio signals.
In my case, I was able to use my cellphone, but had to hang the antenna
for my satellite radio on the screen, outside the glass.
Different brands of low-e windows may resist even more signals.

It appears all CDMA (check the label at the back to see CDMA) ResMed AirSense 10 units will eventually lose their cellular connection as 3G cell towers are phased out. This means no more MyAir reports on your phone apps or computer.

People started reporting loss of MyAir reports early April and I lost mine on April 12. Depending on your specific unit, all available data will be recorded and retained on the SD card and can be viewed via Oscar.

By the way, your unit will also show a slash across the cell signal icon on the front display (upper right) when connectivity is gone.
