Ahhh....that's a little clearer.
First of all make sure that you have the nasal pillows sized correctly and you don't have them cranked down too tight.
Those are the most common errors people make. They don't need to be very snug to stay in place and keep the seal.
They shouldn't break the skin or rub a blister....if they are then something is wrong with either the size or fitting.
Nasal pillow masks shouldn't cause anything more uncomfortable than very minor tenderness....sort of like what you feel when you push on a bruise.
If you have an abrasion or it's extremely tender or sore....go get some
Lansinoh lanolin ointment/cream and apply generously during the day but sparingly at night. Too much will cause it to liquefy from your body heat and then you might wake up with one of the pillows in your ear. Don't laugh...the reason I mention this is because I did that very thing.
Lansinoh is a product that breast feeding moms use for nipple irritation. Totally safe for babies, nasal pillows and your nose. The using it during the day will help the soreness heal faster. It's found in most stores in the baby aisle where bottles, nipples, pacifiers, etc are found. A little pricey for what you get but you really won't use all that much and it lasts forever.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.
