BIPAP

I have a respironics bipap pro 2. The darn thing quit working. It flashes E 53. model number 1012986. It is old need to get this going.

Per the manual that is a “blower speed out of tolerance” error. It requires servicing, likely a new blower motor and main circuit board. So sorry.

welcome to the zoo! i have no idea how old your machine is. you may want to replace, though that's not easy these days.

Sorry, But that is why it's recommended to have a spare of everything you need to use the cpap - including a spare machine. And in this market it can be difficult to find a replacement - you can try your DME for a loaner but that's not guaranteed. And the DME doesn't consider this an emergency either - go figure.
