Best mini-CPAP machine for Bleep mask

Post by laprof » Fri Apr 01, 2022 1:48 pm

Good day! I will finally start traveling internationally again and would like some help with choosing the best mini-CPAP machine for use with my Bleep masks. I currently use a ResMed Airsense 10, but it's a pretty hefty one to carry around on planes. If I have to, so be it. Anyhow, any suggestions for a relatively quiet mini-CPAP (I hear that they're noisy!) that'll be compatible with my Bleep masks will be much appreciated! FWIW: I haven't seen any mini-machines with water tanks... does using them result in dry mouth and nasal passages? Best!

Not sure I'd want to try to Bleep up on a plane. I'd probably just use the Dreamwear. Slip it on, slip it off, no alcohol, no fuss.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I am not very good - not good at all, actually - with any mask that requires headgear... I really would like to find a mini-CPAP that's compatible with my Bleep masks. Best.

With some mini travel machines, you will need an adaptor for your Bleep.
This includes the Resmed Airmini, which requires an adaptor,
but may be the closest to your current machine in function.
If you can swing the price, it is probably the one you want.

Thank you! I'll check out an adaptor for the ResMed mini. Hope that it has good humidity levels possible, too. Best.

The adapter to use any mask with the AirMini is made by Zephair and costs around $20.

You have to give up humidification though, as the HumidX pucks only work with ResMed's proprietary AirMini masks.

Good point!
Nothing ruins a trip worse than crappy sleep.
Even a business trip.
Sucks to be sick or sleepy when you should be at your best.
If you are not sleeping on flights, but just want to lighten the load,
you might want to suck it up and carry your regular machine.
