ASV Machine says "Low Pressure Support" Why?

Post by sleepinow » Thu Mar 31, 2022 4:08 pm

My Respironics ASV Advanced 960 machine said "low pressure support" and had a red light on it. I noticed it after waking up to turn off my machine. Does anyone know what this mean? My PS Min is at 3.5. Is it indicating it may be too low? Or is my machine dying since I do have a bunch of hours on it. I believe this has happened maybe two other times in the past

I have never been able to isolate or find a good explanation.
I suggest calling the guys at acbio.com and see if they have any thoughts.
I once had a System One ASV machine and it gave me this same message and I sent it to acbio.com since it was still under warranty and at the time (few years ago) they tested it and couldn't duplicate it and the best thought was something on the motherboard was acting up.
Maybe they know more now.

If you don't have a spare machine I do suggest getting the ball rolling on getting a new machine though.

I was going to get a one from secondwindcpap but they removed the Respironics machines and now I only see Resmed which is double the price of the Respironics. I understand why they removed it but right now I can't afford the Resmed ones which sucks. Looks like I'm just going to have to save for it.

Sucks that ASV machines are super expensive.

JohnBFisher did give a decent explanation for it. Wonder if the motherboard acts up too to trigger it. Hopefully it is still good
