Anyone out there a regular Brevida Mask wearer?
I have noticed some moisture in the mask that does not really come out. Anyone else have issues like that? Hose and Humidifier are set on auto.
Thanks.

Condensation in the mask...might just be the moisture in your own exhaled breath condensing.
Very common.
The fix is to take your hose air temp from "auto" to manual and figure out a hose air temp that is warmer and will prevent the condensation from ever happening.
Alternate potential fixes....barrel cozy around the pillow or a hose cozy around the short hose.

Did not think about that. This is the first mask with an extended tube. In the past the heated hose went up to the mask.

The air in the long hose...the heated air...starts to cool down a bit as soon as it leaves the end of the long hose.
Depending on how cool the ambient bedroom temp might be ...by the time the air reaches the nasal pillow it has cooled down quite a bit and depending on humidity setting and how much moisture is in your own exhaled breath a bit of condensation can happen. You are lucky...teeny tiny amount. I have had cold showers from the moisture getting blown out the vent holes.
BTW....don't totally discount the moisture in your own exhaled breath. I know people in the high desert who don't even use added moisture (no humidifier setting at all or totally absent) and they still get condensation in the nasal pillow.
Our breath contains a lot more moisture than we might think.
