Hello all,
I began some supplements that have had an impact on my sleep, resulting in a lower AHI on PAP that’s close to zero, with no flow lims seen on Oscar. However, subjectively, I feel and look more exhausted in the morning. I have UARS. I can only conclude that I am having a lot more microarousals during sleep, which we know can’t be detected via the machine.
Any thoughts on how or why this could happen?
Low AHI on PAP + UARS + Microarousals

The supplements are a proprietary blend. 4 supplements and 1 medication.

Huh?
People often think supplements are "natural" and don't come with extra baggage like making us feel worse or mess with our sleep but that's simply not the case.
If you feel worse after starting taking the supplements....stop taking them and see what happens.
Also do some research on potential side effects of whatever you have been taking.

Re: Low AHI on PAP + UARS + Microarousals
The protocol is aimed at “reducing brain inflammation,” prescribed by a functional medicine doctor. I’m pretty much out of options at this point. Literally nothing has helped my sleep quality and just about all have made it worse. The idea was to fix the brain inflammation and that would thus result in better sleep. Ugh.

Re: Low AHI on PAP + UARS + Microarousals
I’ll just stick with the protocol until I can’t no more, whether that’s another day or several days, because there’s the idea that sometimes the body takes time to adjust to a treatment—that is, if the treatment is going to work—and the patient might feel worse before they get better. Thanks for your reply.

If you use Oscar, you can zoom in and spot likely arousals in your flow rate. They might look something like the attached.

My flow rate looks good. Mostly well-rounded. So it’s not the breathing that likely is the issue. Brain MICRO-arousals likely are, which can’t be detected on Oscar.
