There's an inspiratory effort there that doesn't trigger end of EPR. That quirk was also noted in the initial observations in October 2005.

Slept on my right side almost entirely. No pressure annoyances. Woke feeling, perhaps, a bit better. Not as much drama in my flowchart, though some still present.

Glad to hear you had a better night. What puzzles me in the zoomed views is those places where you start to exhale, then quickly inhale a little, then finish exhaling. Can any of the experts interpret this?

I have posted about similar waveforms in the past and nobody is sure why these waveforms occur. I dont look at Sleepyhead/ Oscar any more .

Lol. I feel like this is what my doc will say if I take him some printouts of my flowcharts.

Cause you might be missing detail on these graphs if you're looking at a 1 by 2 inch image.

These 5 signals are flow, thoracic effort. abdominal effort, pressure and don't worry about the bottom one.

I call this breathing pattern machine chatter or double clutching or 2clutch. You are welcome to call it whatever you want.

In the effort channels, it is clear that there is some additional motion on inspiration. Is the machine overly sensitive and stuttered? Or did the patient slow/halt inspiration midway? IMO for your purposes it's academic, but that's the cause of

I believe it would be more pronounced in biPAP, active EPR or similar, but if you've got something other than that for show and tell, stick it up here.
