The smoke smell will fade over time, so the previous comments apply.
However, if it's heavily smoked, then that may take a long time.
You can disassemble a S9, you need a long shank T10 screwdriver, and a thin tool, and a little patience. I can take one apart and reassemble it in about 5 minutes.

To remove internal smoke stench, wipe down the hard plastics with dish soap and water (I used unscented Dawn), then I used alcohol. same with the foam. that removed all hints of cigarette smoke.
The hardest thing was the silicone, since the stink seeps into it.
For that, I recommend the same thing that's used on silicone mask parts, boiling the silicone parts in water with baking soda added.. Here's a thread that discusses it:
