Bleep short expiry date

Post by mike2020 » Thu Dec 23, 2021 1:29 am

Just bought and received 9 months supply of Bleep Dreamports from Amazon and noticed they are all expiring in 3 months. Should I return?
Does anyone know how long is the expiry date from the manufacturing date?

One wonders what there is to "expire" in there.

yeah I wonder too. Maybe the degradation of adhesive?
I mean the expiration date is there for a reason? Not sure, that's why I asked.

They should be fine in a conditioned house

Back in July I had this issue, and I contacted the company via email. Stuart is _very_ helpful and responsive. This is part of what he replied at the time:
Currently, we have Dreamports in age testing to extend the life of the ports out another 3 years. They won’t start going bad anytime soon, so you’re good to purchase.
I am very happy with the Bleep mask, and impressed by the way Stuart answers my questions when I have them.

Yes I am very happy with it too, although they are quite a significant cost to me.
That's why I bought in bulk to save on shipping to Australia too.
Only thing I can think of that can "go bad" may be the adhesive.
They could have been in storage in a warehouse for some time (guessing from nearing expiry date) in possibly unfavorable conditions.

In storage, I would keep them away from heat and light.
Those are two big contributors to adhesive breakdown.
Expiration dates are usually quite generous with non-edibles.

My 9 months supply has the same "good to date" on them, doesn"t bother me one bit. My grandson claims its "the box" and not the mask parts     .
Dont worry about it.. and have A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! SLEEP WITH YOUR BLEEP ON, OR SANTA WILL LEAVE YOU LUMPS OF COAL IN YOU STOCKING.

Cheers
Nan
