date on new autoset for her machine
I am setting up my new autoset for her machine, but when I put today's date in it tosses me out and says I cannot set a date in the past. How can I get the machine to take the correct date?

Re: date on new autoset for her machine
Don't use the machine after "noon" (according to the machine) then try setting the time before bedtime.Deborah K. wrote: ↑Mon Nov 15, 2021 11:27 pmI am setting up my new autoset for her machine, but when I put today's date in it tosses me out and says I cannot set a date in the past. You can't set the time back to a period where there's already data.
Alternatively, you could erase all the data in the machine, then set the date.
Get OSCAR
Accounts to put on the foe list: dataq1, clownbell, gearchange, lynninnj, mper!?, DreamDiver, Geer1, almostadoctor, sleepgeek, ajack, stom, mogy, D.H., They often post misleading, timewasting stuff.

Re: date on new autoset for her machine
You say a "new" machine.
I was able to set the date back on my first Airsense 10 by clearing the data.
This zaps all your previous data--and should not be done if
you need that data for insurance, licensing, etc.

I don't understand, because my machine is brand new. There should be no data on it. I don't understand the Resmed yet. I don't know how to find hours of use, that sort of thing.
I'm also disappointed that my ahi does not show up on the machine screen like it did on the Dreamstation. I seem to just get frowny and smiley faces. What good are they? Do I have to check OSCAR every day just to see my ahi?

Re: date on new autoset for her machine
All the data you would want is on your screen's Sleep Report. Depending on who programmed your machine, it may need it to be turned on. Press and Hold the dial button and the home button together for 5 seconds. Settings will appear on the screen. Press the dial button and you will see all the settings. Change whatever you want. To see the run hours on your machine, Turn the dial to the right as far as you can until you see ABOUT. Press the dial button and you will see the run hours. Also...look for ESSENTIALS. Change the setting to plus and you will see all your data on the Sleep Report. Follow the prompts to back out of settings if you are finished.

YOU have hours on the new machine--of course it is "used" You "drove" it.
On my Airsense 10, on the settings page of the clinician's menu, under
Options, I set Essentials to PLUS..
I hope the 11 is similar.

Re: date on new autoset for her machine
No Froggy, I was trying to set the date last night before I used it, but I could not.
Anyway are the resmed 'events per hour' the same as ahi? If so, I did very well, with 0.2!

Re: date on new autoset for her machine
Thanks everyone! The clinical manual Pugsy sent helped a lot! I deleted everything and was able to set the correct date and set up other things I wanted. I slept great last night and really did get a 0.2 ahi, which I am delighted with! I seldom score that low.
Does anyone know if there is a way to get rid of the silly smiley/frowny faces? If not, I'll just ignore them, but I'd love to kick them off.
I can't get over how much smaller this new machine is compared to the Dreamstation I had. So far I love it!

You are not alone.
This is an awesome machine.
Like comparing a cruise missile to a sharp stick!

don't be surprised if you continue to get lower ahi numbers. it's the difference between philips and resmed.
alas, i don't think there is a way to get rid of them. but i wouldn't surprised if someone comes in and tells us otherwise!Deborah K. wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 5:03 pmDoes anyone know if there is a way to get rid of the silly smiley/frowny faces? Just quickly scroll down past the idiocy.
Eventually, it will become almost a "non-thing".

At least, we can disable the "reminders"-most of them anyway.
