Post by lindalam89 » Fri Sep 03, 2021 6:18 pm

Does anyone know when the climateline air 11 heated tubing will be out for purchase? I have a airsense 11 and cant get the humidifier to work so i'm assuming I need the heated tubbing to manually change settings

The climateline hose has *nothing whatsoever* to do with the humidifier settings.

You've already told us that you have the humidifier in manual:

The user manual for the airsense 11 says climate control manual setting or auto under the screen shots for climate control.

The numbers 1-8 are the standard controls. I am referring to setting up either auto or manual. Without the climate control, it is assumed to be on auto

My DME included the heated tube, cleanable tank and sd card with my Airsense 10--
Just because I asked.

I have the "elite" model in the 11 as I did in 10...I guess that is the way my doctor's office wrote the prescription to the DME ....I ma in Florida and my DME is LINCARE...so far pretty satisfied with them....
Only one question I have and probably I will have o dig in the manual for answer unless someone know the answer ....
The machine always has a small green light on on the round button on top.....I remember reading that the machine is set up to automatically start up upon placing mask on your face and stop when mask is removed...well yes it does start as soonas I placed mask on my face but to turn it off I have to press that round button with green light on top of the machine....

You have to turn 'SmartStart" on.

That is how smartstart works--it always turns it on;
But does not always turn it off.
Exactly how mine "works" all the time--it's usually a mask/airflow thing.
Given the choice between auto on and auto off, I pick auto ON.
I can reach over and shut it off when I want to.
Hate to have it the other way around.
I was not aware the Elite had smartstart . . .

I do think I read that the AirSense 11 models also have a SmartStop feature now that has to be turned on for AutoOff to work.
Similar to the separate auto off feature that Respironics have had for years.

Now it remains to be seen if SmartStop will have the same problems or not with certain masks at lower pressures.

The Elite has everything the AutoSet has except the auto adjusting pressure modes.

Now the "CPAP" model (Airsense 10 or 11) is the one that has limited data.

I only tolerated the Elite for 9 months.
It gave me nasty aerophagia.
My first Autoset--best FLEX money I ever spent!

Does the AirSense 11 auto use the same slimline tube as the S10 auto? I am aware the heated hose is different between the 10 and 11 models.
