Leaks not making sense
It has been quite awhile since I have been on this board. Thanks have been on CPAP for almost 3 years now. I have a Resmed Airsense 10 with a p10 mask that I love; but the l ask rates are high every night on it. I am now living with my girlfriend most nights using the machine. My Oscar software is on my home computer, so can’t post anything from it. Using their app report, I am normally getting a ratting of 9-10. When I use my Air Mini at home with its P10, I get 19-20. I have changed out the mask in the past with no effect.
I was thinking of trying the P30i to see if it makes a difference. My leaks, when they wake me up, normally come from the mask moving, not my mouth. They don’t wake me or my girlfriend up very often. I don’t know why the p10 doesn’t work effectively with the Airsense. I was wondering if perhaps it is defective. Any ideas or recommendations?

Take the SD card home and read the data.MVPinBoynton wrote: ↑Tue Aug 17, 2021 1:57 pmIt has been quite awhile since I have been on this board. Thanks have been on CPAP for almost 3 years now. Post the data, otherwise we're just guessing.

Re: Leaks not making sense
I understand and will do that. Without being able to get Oscar data from the mini, it probably won’t explain why one shows good results and the other doesn’t. But I would like to know if in general the p30i is better for staying in place than the P10, even though the P10 does great on my mini.

Re: Leaks not making sense
Having used both masks I would say in my experience there isn't a noticeable difference in leaks.

Re: Leaks not making sense
I recently went back to using the P10 when I learned that the N30 headgear would work perfectly with the P10. If you do a search you'll find a thread where folks were talking about this very thing. (Don't have time to find it right now). You can adjust the straps on the N30 and it makes a big difference when using the P10. Of course, YMMV

Now that is a good idea. I had gotten an ad where the p10 now has an adjustable strap. Perhaps this might work too. Thanks for the tip. I had searched about the p30 before posting; but hadn’t seen that thread. I will search for it.SummerTime wrote: ↑Wed Aug 18, 2021 1:14 amI recently went back to using the P10 when I learned that the N30 headgear would work perfectly with the P10. Re: Leaks not making sense
I put Oscar on my girlfriend's PC, so can now put in some Oscar Data. This is a typical day. Using the Air Mini, my leak rate is much lower.
