Once again I need the help of this forum.
I have a "Swift FX Series Nasal Pillow" head gear, which I love.
I need a source or idea how I can replace the elastic/velcro without purchasing extra parts I don't need. I'm looking for the "blue" part in the enclosed attachment.
Also, please remember I'm in Canada so adjust your links & ideas accordingly.
Thanks: Dave.

Velvet ribbon, from any fabric store.
Place it fuzzy side in, to grip your hair/head.
Browse the store for myriad ideas.
I sometimes just shop for inspiration.

Many, many moons ago that part of the headgear was available for purchase as a ResMed packaged replacement piece but ResMed quit offering it years ago as a separate purchase.
The reason is obvious...they make more money by forcing you to buy the entire headgear at more money than just what they sold that elastic little piece for.
Years ago people got 2 of those little pieces in a complete mask package....then ResMed reduced it to 1....but they still offered the little strip as a separate purchase...then they decided to no longer offer it separately and instead force people to buy the frame part which of course doesn't hardly ever wear out or get damaged since it is silicone.
BUT REMEMBER ResMed will tell you that you should replace the frame every 3 to 6 months because that's what they say about all their mask frame/headgear products.
I will bet that is what they will tell anyone bitching about not being able to find that one little piece.
They won't feel sorry for you and instead tell you that you aren't replacing items per "their scheduled advice".
For a long time we could find those back straps sold on EBay all by themselves but I haven't seen one in years.
You will have to make your own ....a trip to a local fabric store should give you ample ideas.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.
