Just saw a new ENT for some issues with my ears being blocked from time to time and he prescribed Azelastine to help with congestion/Allergies. I mentioned about my sleep apnea and having trouble keeping my mask on at night but it is an antihistamine and I know they can possibly worsen sleep apnea.
Just would like a few people who use it to let me know if they have experienced any worsening of their apnea?https://9apps.ooo/
Does anyone use Azelastine (AstePro) for allergies?

Where did you get the idea that antihistamines can make OSA worse?

I was using only Flonase for a while and then added Azelastine at my allergist’s suggestion. I didn’t see any change in my AHI or general quality of sleep. Reducing congestion and postnasal drip makes PAP a lot more comfortable for me.
