Help! Adapter question!
Help! Adapter question!
I’m trying to find a new way to hook my Phillips Respironics DreamWear mask up to my ResMed AirSense 10 machine. It’s hooked up right now, but with way too much tubing. Any suggestions for adapters?

Re: Help! Adapter question!
Almost always when one can't connect a CPAP mask to a hose, it's because a little quick-connect hose was left in or forgotten.
But your description of the problem isn't helpful.

Re: Help! Adapter question!
How much is too much?
My Climateline hose is about 6.5 feet long, and the hose on my p10 mask is about 17".
I use a hose management device that holds the middle about 3' above the machine;
leaving plenty hose length to allow comfortable sleep on either side,
and prevent me from lying on it and squashing it.
Lifting the hose helps prevent rainout if your hose is not heated.

Re: Help! Adapter question!
Do you just need a shorter hose - because they're a dime a dozen through your dealer (or they should know where to get them).

Adapter? Too much hose?
Cut out the unwanted section of the offending hose and duct tape what is left back together.
Done and done.
