I see a lot of posts without avatars, but I don't think these people have uploaded avatars to their profiles. Maybe you are just looking at the posts made by these people.
no, i'm talking about seasoned veterans here, which is so weird.

i can see-

me
you
miss e
squid13
bluedragon

and that's all.

I use Bitdefender and it is blocking rackspacecloud.com with the following message:

msedge.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an unmatching security certificate to c1501942.cdn.cloudfiles.rackspacecloud.com. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since the used certificate was issued for a different web address than the targeted one.

So far, I can see everyone's avatar, including mine;
but I have gotten the damn robot message several times a day for the last week or 2.

You aren't alone. Sometimes I get that damn robot 3 times in a row before it lets me do what I wanted to do.
Extremely frustrating and changing IP provider to my cell phone hot spot doesn't work like it did the last time we went through all this crap.
I also get that security error thing often as well.
Total PITA...so bad that sometimes I think I might as well just not be here since I can't do a damn thing.
More than once lately been thinking about just resigning as moderator until the IT guys quit screwing up the forum software.
I don't have time for this bullshit.

.

Also having the same issue... along with several others that started a few months back.

Can't understand why these issues haven't been fixed. Maybe the Goodmans no longer care if this site sticks around.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We migrated the site to https over the weekend which appears to have broken some avatars. Those using a built-in avatar should not be affected.

I am attempting to work with support for RackSpace now to hopefully fix this.

EDIT: Temporary fix in place.

THANK you! i can now see everyone's bright and shiny mugs.

as long as you're here, would it be possible to get our equipment profile working again?

eta: and also, pugsy and chunkyfrog have trouble with cpatcha screens popping up. pugsy seems to have this more than chunkyfrog. could you look into that, too?

sorry to be so needy, but these are issues that have been ongoing since the beginning of the year and we don't seem to be able to get mr. goodman's attention.

thanks!
