What effect do air leaks have on events?
I have both obstructive and central.
It seems to me that the event number tends to be lower when the leaks are higher.
Is there such a thing as an acceptable number?

Re: Air Leaks
Please read Pugsy's detailed posts about leaks.

Above some leak level (amount depending on your machine) the CPAP cannot reliably record events.

Re: Air Leaks
Depends on machine ...how deep into large leak territory a person goes and how long they stayed there.
It takes a lot of large leak to impact a machine's ability to sense and record events.
If the leaks aren't making it into large leak territory...the number of events being different isn't from the leak itself but more likely just because we don't sleep the same each night.

Re: Air Leaks
Pardon me, I was just looking up what machine you have (AirCurve 10 Vauto).
But you might want to re-read the first thread you started on the board.
The questions you pose here were already answered there.
