Interesting report last night. Not concerned over it, just doing some detective work.
Some background. Decided to experiment with some FFM so started with an F20 around 23:15. Woke up around 02:45 from the F20 mask popping off, got up and in the process knocked over a glass of water (go ahead, it's okay to laugh), and cleaned it up. Went back to sleep around 03:15 and the mask popped off again around 04:20 so put on my trusty old F30i and back to sleep.
The interesting thing to me in need of expertise is how did the AS10 record 2 unclassified apneas when I was not even wearing the mask? Was it due to it still being on with no pressure behind the mask? I know I forgot to turn it off during the time I was cleaning up the water.
My reason for testing masks is that I experience way less CA events with nasal pillows, but have to wear the equivalent of a rugby headset to keep my mouth closed otherwise I get a bunch of large leaks. The leaks in themselves don't bother me as they do not interfere with my sleep, but I do get an elbow if I'm facing the boss when they happen as they wake her up.
Being the scientist I am I keep notes and experiment on things, so looking for thoughts from those more experienced regarding the UA while on but not used.

Think about using a bottle with a screw on cap.
A mouth (teeth) guard from the sporting goods section of Walmart helped me learn to breath with my mouth closed.

Interesting idea about the mouthguard. Had not thought about that before, will ponder it...

I always spill water or tea into my shoes. (Sandals, of course)
So open glasses stay elsewhere.
