Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset for Her for Sale

Hi all,

I have an Airsense 10 Autoset that I no longer use (switched to an Aircurve 10). Gently used for 4 months (1333 hours), had no issues -- I just wanted to switch to the Aircurve as it was a better fit. I am not sure what a reasonable price is in this market for a machine that's been used this amount, but I'm hoping to hear some suggestions and offers to get an idea.

I realize that with the Philips recall some people might be looking for a replacement ASAP. If you in the local area, Austin, TX, I can arrange to get you the machine as soon as possible (could possibly do today). I would prefer to do a local sale, but am willing to consider shipping. I'll be checking this thread/pm's for the next few days. I also have some supplies - let me know what you need and we can talk.

I'm trying to include a picture of the machine - I have made a thread regarding OSCAR in the past and had no issues with adding images. Did something change on this forum? Any image I attempt to upload keeps failing due to image size related error (it's only 2mb). I will post this up for now, and try to add in a picture of the machine (and menu displaying the hours info) to a followup comment, or via dm's for interested people. If all else fails I can probably do an imgur upload.

There is a file size limit for attachments ....1 MB is the limit.
Your image is failing due to size of the file.
Either resize it or use a photo hosting website like imgur.com to host the file.

Thanks for the advice, I'll use imgur. Here you can see the 1333 hours. I blotted out the Serial numbers but if interested parties DM me I'll provide the original image. Let me know if there's anything else I can show.

Can I get some input for what a reasonable price ought to be? I'm seeing the price for a new Autoset 10 is about $1000 on cpap com, so I'm very vaguely thinking somewhere around $400-$700. Does that seem the right ballpark? If someone has urgent need and is in a rough financial situation, I can make considerations or come up with a delayed payment agreement.

I think $400-$500 is fair right now

The $1000 price you see on CPAP.com is a result of the Philips recall, that same machine was $589 last week.

I have a regular AirSense 10 AutoSet I paid $589 for back in early May and I just went ahead and bought another unit this week (a refurb) for $350 to use as a backup machine.

Thanks for the input - I looked at that thread by LSAT and Pugsy mentioned that twice that price would be a great deal for an Airsense 10 Autoset. I don't have that kind of economy of scale, so I can't beat that price, so I'll tentatively ask for around $500, and willing to hear offers -- otherwise I'll just keep it as a backup unit.

It's worth what one person is willing to pay for it and the other person selling it is happy with that amount.

LSAT's machine...1 hour...essentially brand new and that makes it highly desirable.
Plus he has a very long history here ....I think I have purchased 4 machines from him myself ...2 for my use and 2 for someone else outside the USA...I think...might be more but you can always rely on what he says as being the gospel.
So not exactly an apples to apples comparison here.
Those used models used to sell for around 400 to 500 or so at secondwind. Not sure what they might be selling for now.

If it was at any other time...500 would be a bit steep even if it was 0 hours.
(Remember when we buy/sell privately we don't get warranties or anything like that)..
At secondwind....there was a warranty that came with it.

But it's not any other time right now and the recall thing has added a few dollars to all machines that aren't affected.
It's just business...supply and demand.

It's worth what someone will pay for it...it's that simple.
Won't be worth it for some people for any number of reasons...but for someone in a serious pinch...then it becomes more valuable.

Wait and see what kind of traffic you get on it. You can always change your mind on what you are happy with in terms of offers.
