AHI went higher to 38 on second night of usage
Re: AHI went higher to 38 on second night of usage
Unless something else unrelated is happening, i.e. 2nd Covid shot effects
, etc. etc.

yup. also, be aware that most of don't get an A-HA moment when everything suddenly gets better. it's more of a gradual thing.1speechpick wrote: ↑Fri Jun 11, 2021 3:21 pm
Do you all find OSA made you pretty weak and tired until it was under control?
remember, you've been afflicted with untreated sleep apnea for a very long time. takes awhile for you body to overcome it.
good luck!

Does this go with reduction of AHIs, as well? I assumed if one was ventilated with proper settings the AHI went down immediately.

yes, of course. the lower that number, the better off you are. this is why the forum needs to see the data that oscar will provide. once that data is seen, suggestions can be made to improve your therapy.1speechpick wrote: ↑Sat Jun 12, 2021 7:43 amzonker wrote: ↑Fri Jun 11, 2021 8:22 pmyup. also, be aware that most of don't get an A-HA moment when everything suddenly gets better. it's more of a gradual thing.1speechpick wrote: ↑Fri Jun 11, 2021 3:21 pm

the problem with all of this is, the vast majority aren't set up with the proper settings to begin with. i really don't understand why doctors can't, for the most part, get this right. they seem to feel that they've given you the machine and the machine, by itself, will fix it!
it's a unique journey for all of us and we will need different settings to help each of us.
what works for thee mostly won't work for me.
good luck!
