Re: Newbie looking for help on first Auto CPAP
Thanks for the replies everyone! The mask strap does seem to be stretching out a bit. My nose isn't as sore as it was but I will take all of the suggestions here under advisement. I'm still struggling to get a good night's sleep with the P10. One problem I am running into is the mask will seem to be seated well on my nose with good airflow, but then when I move my head to put it on the pillow the slightest shift will make it hard to breathe through. Is this common? I still can't seem to sleep on my back or side, so I'm pretty uncomfortable and not waking up well-rested since my neck is craned around further than usual. My events per hour score range has been 7.4 to 5.2 the last few nights.

What are your pressure settings?
Re: Newbie looking for help on first Auto CPAP
The minimum pressure is 4. The maximum pressure is 16.

Something to consider, if you are interested in trying another mask, is the Bleep. I am a restless stomach/side sleeper and the Bleep was a life saver for me! I am able to sleep comfortably on my stomach. The first mask I could use for me than a few weeks without searching out and trying something else. I tried the P10 several times at my husband's insistence. It is HIS favorite...he feels about it the way I do about the Bleep!
One thing that might concern you is that it attaches with adhesive. A number of men with facial hair successfully use the Bleep. You just need to slightly trim the mustache just below the nose, where the adhesive will attach. The absolute BEST part about the Bleep is the incredible customer service...the CEO, Stuart, is available to help with any issues you might have. He actually gives out his phone number and I know he has even video chatted with people to help them. And Stuart has a mustache himself, so if you go that route and need help, I feel certain he would be able to guide you!
Good luck! As Pugsy said, the mask journey can be the hardest part of this!

Are you comfortable with the min. at 4? Most people aren't, and usually raise it to e.g. 6, but 4 may work for you.
