I am new to this forum, but not new to CPAP. I am probably on my 5th machine so far. This new one is the AirSense 10 AutoSet with a full face mask, Resmed Mirage Quattro.
I was getting horrible sleep patterns again so got a check up, and now this new equipment. I actually like them a lot, however, and this is the first time I've had a full face mask. I can't seem to get the mask to stop having air leaks. The machine tells me how much it is leaking through the sleep cycle. I've tried placing it on loosely as it advertises to do, then adjusting the knob while laying down, this didn't work 100%. I last night adjusted the straps like I would any other mask I've had, and that didn't help either. Maybe it is just because it is new to me and I need to figure it out!
If you have any tips or have had success with this mask, I would appreciate your thoughts.
My question right now besides that is, when wearing a full face mask, is it common for your jaw line to hurt a little right under where the bottom of the masks lays under the mouth? Probably had the straps down there too tight perhaps.
It's been 3 nights with it and still not seeing an improvement in being less tired. I hope this works out soon. Thanks Jaycee

Re: Got a New Machine and Mask
You answered your own question. And yes, youtube videos are often excellent for learning how to fit and adjust a specific mask.
Are you using OSCAR to check whether your CPAP therapy is optimized?
