Cannot Get Phillips Dreammapper to Show Recent Data

Post by Tanner1117 » Fri Apr 30, 2021 5:04 am

I have been using my Phillips Dreamstation Go for over a year. I am having issues getting the dream mapper app to display the data. I have tried the bluetooth connection as well as data card. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app. Nothing is working.

Any suggestions would be appreciated..

Get a Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset and Oscar.
Use the Go for a backup.

If the SD Card can't write/read the data to the SD card, that may be the reason you can't get the data.
- Check to make sure the memory card is not locked by way of the switch on its side.
- Perhaps try a new SD Card. The SD Card in my DreamStation that was provided with the machine is a 2GB capacity and has a FAT32 file system. Either a new card at 2GB or 4GB, 8GB should be fine. While I haven't had to try a new SD card, I suspect the machine would initialize the card for any folders or files it needs when a new card is installed and the machine powered on.

SD card has nothing to do with the DreamMapper website/software being buggy.
You don't need a SD card at all to use DreamMapper.
SD cards are only needed to transfer stored data to a person's personal computer device so they can use software like OSCAR or Encore Pro.

The DreamMapper website and function for BlueTooth reporting....known to be buggier than hell.
Nothing we can do to fix it. Just have to wait until Respironics fixes it.

I based what I said on what the OP said, "I have tried the bluetooth connection as well as data card."

If directly trying to read the card appears to have problems it 'may' relate back to other data access issues and what I suggested is easy and/or cheap to try. If it can't write to a new, fresh card there may be more going under the hood that kluges up data reading or storage.
The DreamMapper website (I access on a Win7 and Win10 PC) for me has been very reliable on a daily basis other than occasional times the remote cellular service takes a nap for a day or two, but will finally upload all the data. Bluetooth as well has worked reliably when I've used it other than being slow. Need to be fairly close to the machine.

OP could also give this a try......

"How do I reset the Bluetooth connection?
First, verify that the Bluetooth option is turned on in the DreamMapper Settings menu. Click on the 3 bars on the top left of the app, then click on Settings. On the Settings menu, click on the button next to Use Bluetooth. Scroll down to the bottom of the Bluetooth Setup page and click on Begin Using. The data should begin synchronizing. If the data does not sync and the connection fails, please try the following steps to reconnect the Bluetooth:
• Unpair the Bluetooth.
• Uninstall the app.
• Reboot the phone/tablet.
• Install the DreamMapper app and go through the setup process selecting Bluetooth.
• Pair Bluetooth. (Note: Pair means to establish a connection between devices.)
• On the DreamMapper app Settings menu, Click on Therapy Device, click on Bluetooth, then click on Begin Using.
• Data should start synchronizing.
• Click on the Sleep Page to view the latest usage data."

And the reason that I said what I said was the mention of "as well as data card" and his problem is with DreamMapper which has nothing to do with the SD card.
Just trying to explain what the SD card can and can't do for this OP as well as anyone else who might be having problems with either DreamMapper (or even ResMed's MyAir) reporting. The problem (whatever it is) isn't related to the SD card so no sense in wasting time screwing around with the SD card to try to fix a website problem.

Figured it best to expend energy trying to solve the problem in other ways and not waste time on screwing around with the SD card when trying to fix website problems or DreamMapper problems or bluetooth problems.
