Cant Figure this Out
Hi all, newbie back again ,, i picked up a new machine since i wasnt using one for ahwile -- i have the dreamstation autoset .. have tinkered w full face mask but nasal mask listed in sig is the one im using now .. i set the machine on auto the first night using nasal f20 mask .. felt like i rested well . woke up still felt kinda tired .. ahi 5 pressure 10 -- but all day long i had an uncomfortable dizzyness / off kilter feeling almost along with some anxiety .. can anyone let me know what this could be ? and no the sheets did not cover the mask .. since then i quit using it until i can get some answers as to why i would feel this way, next night i didnt use it and felt better next day . its kind of concerning that something that is supposed to help would make me feel this way .. tx in advance . ps should i download sleepy head or some other software that would explain more?

You said you set the machine to auto, then you said your pressure was 10...indicating fixed pressure.

You need to understand the definition of any 95% number....it's where the machine was AT OR BELOW for 95% of the night.sidesleeper7 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 9:55 am95% of the night the pressure was 10.LSAT wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 9:02 amYou said you set the machine to auto, then you said your pressure was 10...indicating fixed pressure.

It is NOT where the machine was at for 95% of the night. The "or below" part of the definition is critical to the definition.
95% numbers are just numbers that really don't mean a whole lot and are easily skewed to the high side by a relatively short period of time at the higher side of things.
This pertains to both pressure and leak 95% numbers.

I clearly understand this, the pressure was at 10 for 95% of the night.Pugsy wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 10:06 amYou need to understand the definition of any 95% number....it's where the machine was AT OR BELOW for 95% of the night.sidesleeper7 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 9:55 am95% of the night the pressure was 10.LSAT wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 9:02 amYou said you set the machine to auto, then you said your pressure was 10...indicating fixed pressure.

Prove it with the software pressure graph image....if it was indeed pegged out at 10 for 95% of the night then something is wrong with your settings and you likely need some adjustments.sidesleeper7 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 10:19 amI clearly understand this, the pressure was at 10 for 95% of the night.

Impossible to address the concerns without having some sort of idea what might be going on....for that we need those software reports.sidesleeper7 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 10:39 amokay, i just downloaded Oscar, no one has addressed my concern about feeling dizzy , off kilter etc .. makes me kind of anxious to use this damn thing again because I am not sure whats causing that . My crystal ball is broken...so I won't make some sort of wild ass guess about what might be going on with you.
Might be related to sub optimal therapy...might be totally unrelated to cpap or therapy and instead related on some other health issue.
I don't do wild ass guesses...otherwise known as WAGs when there is at least some sort of data available to look at and maybe offer a hint as to what is going on.

If you don't have a SD card in the machine....you need to get one.
