What are your thoughts? on the
DreamStation 2 Auto?
To me, this appears to be a travel APAP but the specs lack total weight of the device plus tubing, power supply, and travel bag. It's slightly noisier compared to the Airsense 10 which comes in at 26.6 dB. Personally, I found the Airsense 10 was quieter than the Dreamstation even though it is rated at 25.8 dB.
Additionally, there is no device display from what I can see, and it's really pricey compared to the original Dreamstation.

Actually....the DS 2 is priced just about the same as the original DS was price when it was first released a few years back.Justin Case wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 5:47 pmit's really pricey compared to the original Dreamstation.
The discounted price you see for the older model...it's on sale because it will be discontinued...that's why it is so cheap.
Heckuva deal for an auto including humidifier though if someone is just in love with their original DS model or maybe wants an auto model because they got stuck with the Pro or brick CPAP.

Thank you. I searched before posting, but I didn't see another one on the D2. I also received the email today about this new item.zonker wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 5:55 pmsomeone has beaten you to the punch, er i mean post-Justin Case wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 5:47 pmWhat are your thoughts? on the

I have taken that into account, but like I mentioned, the D2 seems to me it's really a travel APAP. My DME (arguably) told me to use a non travel APAP at home when not travelling. He has a separate APAP when he travels and keeps his Autoset at home. The current price for the original Dreamstation is great for sure, but the D2 seems limited, all things being equal.Pugsy wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 6:10 pmActually....the DS 2 is priced just about the same as the original DS was price when it was first released a few years back.Justin Case wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 5:47 pmit's really pricey compared to the original Dreamstation.
