Help with home sleep study results!!!

Post by mildapnea » Thu Feb 25, 2021 8:17 pm

Hey Guys,

So for the last 2 or 3 years i have been experiencing a gradually increasing level of fatigue and brain fog. It got to the point about 6 months ago where it is so bad and also causing me to feel quite depressed and anxious with memory problems as well that i decided to go to the doctors and try and solve the problem. Got all my bloodwork done and ruled out everything except sleep apnea and mental health disorders.

I have attached my results above (did a home sleep study). The sleep study lady at the chemist has basically said to me that it isn't a great concern because of it being so mild but i should get a doctors evaluation which i will asap.

I am just wondering if these mild results look like they could be causing the severe symptoms i am feeling and if anyone else has had a similar situation?

Thanks heaps !

The links to imgur are there and they work. Do you not see the links?

They weren't blank. I don't know what/who we blame it on but I was able to read things quite easily.

Your AHI indicates mild sleep apnea, plus you do a lot of snoring. While the apnea is "mild," it still means your sleep may be fragmented by the events you are experiencing.

My own advice would be to try PAP, sticking with it for at least 6 months to see what it can do for you. If you have a choice, please try to get a ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset [ideally, "For Her"], which is more nimble that other machines out there.

As you move forward, don't hesitate to come back here. Ideally, you will stick to this thread so people can see the accumulating information.
