Hey Jose, same thing happened to me when I went for my first test. Couldn't sleep a wink. My sleep tech had a chat with me before I left the next morning. She told me I didn't sleep and should ask my doctor for a sleep pill to take before I tried it again. They can get the data they need even if you zonk out with the aid of a sleep pill.josearturodominguez wrote: ↑Sat Feb 20, 2021 7:16 amMaybe slepted about 2 hours off and on at my sleep study last night with little naps waking me up by my snore , and little gasps of air i was too uncomfortable with all the cables and just rolled over all night anybody experienced that? Would that be enough to evaluate my condition ?What's next?
Interestingly enough, when I went to see my doctor to review my test results he told me I didn't have apnea, that I just snored

It was only when I told him my girlfriend was alarmed because I stop breathing constantly throughout the night that he changed his tune and
pursued a retest initiative. My first test was such an uncomfortable experience I put off going back to be retested for a long time.
I ran across a different sleep clinic and decided to give it another go with the sleep pill. I managed to sleep and was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea.
Fast forward to today (4 years later). I've used a cpap (auto) machine every night since I was retested and issued a machine( 4 years ago). It's been a life changing experience.I didn't realize how sleep deprived I'd been. My AHI dropped from 35 and is now under 3 consistently and often under 2.
I would do whatever it takes to get a proper sleep test reading done if the first one doesn't produce conclusive results.
It's your life and your health!
